Sakurai Armory commissioned me to do two jobs in one illustration - to produce splash art ready for future marketing, and to help design a new version of the company mascot, incorporating more sporty elements into the previous mascot's cutesy pastel color scheme.
I went through three initial sketch passes below, then mixed and fine-tuned the design until we were ready for color.
